my fountain of youth

i was looking through 2010 photo albums, and found some snapshots i thought may be appreciated :)

tonight im gonna give you all my love, in the backseat

friday saturday sunday work work sleep

saturday night was mitchells 18th, and what a drunken heap we were

we started out in a hotel room and ended up at the court

i met some amazing new people, and gained myself a girlfriend for the night
thanks emma, great job :)

i haven't been this drunk in a while

i had this friend

his name was harvey i thought we were inloveoneday he brought me flowersand watched the world with mei wish we'd run away together

im going as far as these crooked legs take me

i seem to have bad luck at siena's
last time i went there they brought me the wrong dish; this time they forgot me completely
though i must confess that my salmon and avocado salad more than made up for it.

im making my way while the sun cannot stain me
im watching the road with two young eyes to guide me
not looking behind to ensure that the home fires are shrinking
the fireflies fade as the city lights find me

thank you saturday for the few rays you shone

i managed to wake up early and vote, spent the morning cloud gazing with chanel, and later enjoyed a big bowl of mie goreng.

that night it was JOSH THOMAS SUPRISE! live at the octagon theatre

for those of you living under a rock, josh thomas is the gangly boy on 'talking about your generation' that sputters and frenzies about humourously. last night he talked about coming out, shared a lot of intimate stories of him and his ex boyfriend [hilarious!] and poked fun at his life. i love his akwkardness.

it was a laugh :)

tonight i got to hang out with one of my most favourite people in the world- mahalia
we headed into leederville in search of food and entertainment, and ended up stopping through jus burgers, urban records, oxford st. books and san churros.

if you happen to cross roads with any of these places i recommend you a) try the chickpea burger with a side of spanish slaw b) buy yourself a wicked pair of ankle boots c) check out the book 'days with my father' by phillip toledano and d) eat your heart out.

i always seem to forget that my body can't handle coffee anymore
