Monday night Chanel and I played the greatest trick ever on Michael.
Earlier that night Chanel had cooked in the oven a delicious (store bought) supreme pizza, with added extra cheese, basil, sausage and chili flakes to make it that much more delectable. Since we only managed to eat half of it, I sent Michael a text letting him know that if he wanted some pizza to feel free to come by and hangout. Long story short, he was pretty keen on the idea since he had just finished playing a football match, so as he was making the short trip from his house to ours, we came up with the greatest idea ever! We took the plate of pizza out of the fridge, hid it in the microwave and then drew up a fake slice of pizza to put in it's place.. NO PIZZA FOR YOU!
Our efforts were well payed off with the expression on his face (poor guy, although admittedly he is pretty well accustomed to being the butt of most of our jokes)! I would also like to point out Chanel's great skill of capturing the moment.
From romantic dinners to endless snacking, from curling up in bed then racing off to have Sanchurros, from never ending study and continuous groans of defeat, and from enjoying the company of a housemate yet feeling this set up has just always been.. I can honestly say I don't think I will be able to leave!
My friend's parents are going away for about 6 weeks, travelling across America and I will be keeping her company for the first 3 weeks.. at least!
Ever since turning 20 I have dreamed about moving out of home. Although sometimes my parents can get on my nerves, they're not the reason that I want to. I just feel ready to have a whole place to call my own.
Nonetheless, I will not be moving out until I own a house of some sort, and that won't be for at least another couple years. Trying to save for a home loan and paying for uni books just do not go hand in hand.
On Wednesday it was the makeshift 13th anniversary of Chanel and I first becoming friends. We exchanged homemade cards, rented out Mary Poppins and enjoyed a couple hours of singing fun! I recommend to everyone out in the world: have a day, at least once a year, dedicated to celebrating a friendship that means a lot to you!
