Forever Young

I was going through our family albums a couple of days ago and came across some cute photos from when my parents were younger.

Enjoy!

Christmas Eve

I am so excited for Christmas day tomorrow. I am lucky enough to be spending it with those that I love.

Michael and I went to Ikea today to grab some last minute gifts (I finished all my shopping last week) and he ended up buying me a CUTE teddy named Mr. Bear as well as a decorating cupcake set and two 'make your own gingerbread house' kits.
I gave one for Sarah because she has been wanting to make a gingerbread house for weeks!

I also made a cheesecake; chocolate chip, glace cherries and vanilla mixture - so excited to dig in tomorrow :))

IGA Xmas drinks

Saturday night was a very messy night (hee hee)
Heaps of peeps from IGA went to the Mullaloo Beach Hotel for Christmas drinks and a fun time; it was such a hoot! I can honestly tell you that the $5.50 house white Chardonnay was absolutely bearable and was the reason for my utter sloshiness. Cheap cheap wine is never wasted on me!

Luckily Michael picked me up just in time for me to miss out on a further escapade to Bar120 haha. He is definitely my most favourite taxi man.

Here are a few fun filled pics!

Here puss puss puss

Last night I went and saw Puss in Boots at Warwick cinemas in Megascreen.
It was pretty funny and very cute, and if you have already seen the movie then you will recall one particularly hilarious cat that just blew my mind and kept me laughing hours and hours after the movie was over.. OOOOOOOH
If not.. go see the movie and laugh laugh laugh

This morning Motza and I helped my friend Sally move a couple (and by couple I mean so many things that it took about 5 trips) of pieces of furniture into her new house! Tonight is her first night living out of home and she wanted to at least have tables and chairs and drawers and TV.
Everything surprisingly made it to her new house damage free, and although we had a few false starts with my terrible parking and the sliding door nearly breaking off, even the TV survived.
Thank god for my family van!

Unfortunately, our final arrival at the house was marked by Sally dropping her iphone and smashing the screen! How unfortunate!

I also found time to start my Christmas shopping this afternoon, and spent all of my Wok in a Box pay in one hit. Luckily IGA wages kick in tomorrow.
I am so glad to have two jobs at the moment.
Just in time for Christmas!

Karri Valley

I am so excited!
Today Motza and I are heading down to Permberton to stay at the Karri Valley Resort as part of his birthday present from me.
We're only going for 1 night (because it was way too pricey for me to afford 2) but we're going to make the most of our time and have an awesome trip!

Here, there, everywhere

On Friday night I went to Bar120 for the first time in like forever! I went with Mahalia and a group of her friends to see a friend of theirs that was DJing. We got there just after 11pm and it was so funny because it was still soooooo dead! And the music was, well, impossible to dance to.

However, this funny story has a happy ending because all of a sudden we were dancing and the music livened up and more people crammed in, so it actually ended up being a good night.

Unfortunately, because I had worked all day Friday and had work the next day at 7:30am, I was completely destroyed afterwards and am still trying to catch up on sleep.

Mandurah

I went to Mandurah with my best friend last week, but I've been so busy with two jobs and little sleep that I only just realised that I hadn't yet posted up any pictures from our trip.
Mandurah was so much fun and consisted of long walks, lots of food, shopping and napping; it was the perfect way for us to celebrate the end of our exams, and the beginning of 3 months holiday!
