Mahalia and Sally came over for lunch today and we had warm Turkish bread and carrot sticks with a selection of dips, olives and antipasto.
There was an abundance of food!
Flavours included olive and feta, balsamic and extra virgin olive oil, French onion and tequila lime.
Afterwards Sally and I were in creative moods and decided to venture to spotlight; I ended up coming home with a paint kit and a wooden door hanger, and below is the result. I was going to wrote 'Leila's Room' but ended up deciding that Pocahontas was way cooler. I haven't done anything artistic in a long time and was kind of pleased that I managed to make her recognisable. It was harder than I thought it would be.
I kind of miss black hair..
